For a cottage on 'Witch Alley' everything looks relatively normal here . . . .

A lovely little double bed for Nancy and Dan . . . .

Dan likes to relax in his pyjamas, with the paper and his pipe . . . .

Even the picture on the wall of the 'Coven of the Crescent Moon' doesn't alert him to the fact that Nancy once had dabblings in Witchcraft!

Nancy does hide it well though, and prefers these days to make dinner from scratch rather than pick up her wand or spellbooks.

There is one delicacy that she can't quite give up though, and always keeps a jar of fresh 'Brain Jelly & Worms' to hand!

The remaining room belongs solely to Nancy.  It's where she keeps herself busy with her new hobby of weaving.  She even spins her own wool . . . . .

On the wall is a picture of Nance in her practicing days, and in the corner there sits a cupboard, where Nancy has very carefully stored away all her witchy belongings . . .

The pumpkin has certainly seen better days - but there is plenty of magic left in the old wand yet!

Right then . . . . . time for . . . . .
Retired Witch Cottage!
This little witch has chosen a quiet retirement from all things witchy, and lives with her non-magical husband, who hasn't a clue that his wife was (is?) a witch.

They live in the middle of Witch Alley, in a rather ordinary cottage.
This is how the cottage looked before they decorated . . . .

They soon set to work making the place their own though . . . .
The work started in the bedroom . . .

Continued into the kitchen . . . .

 Then into the living room . . . .

The final room, Nancy (the retired witch) wanted for herself.  She decorated it . . . .

and plans to fill it with things to keep her busy and her mind off Witchcraft!!!

It's my eldest Son's Birthday today.

Happy Birthday Jack
XXX

To the outside world he looks like a 17 year old.

To me, he still looks like this . . . . . .

Yesterday, I was working on a new goblin door for one of my latest cottages that I was lucky enough to get from Bea (Petite Properties) at the Miniatura show in September.
I wanted it to be different from my last goblin door, so started with a new shape . . . . .

Then I decided, well . . . . why not have it so that it opens?
It took me a little longer than that to work it out, but I got there in the end . . .

Perfect for the little critters!
